Join us as we explore the first of 4 missional lessons from the life of the Apostle Paul. This lesson focuses on the importance of fully surrendering your life to God, as demonstrated by Paul's radical conversion in Acts chapter 9.
We'll learn about Paul's background as a zealous Pharisee who violently persecuted the early Christian church. He had many false assumptions and beliefs about Jesus that were radically challenged when he encountered the risen Christ on the Damascus Road. After being struck blind, Paul spent 3 days fasting as his life was completely transformed.
You'll be challenged to consider if you've truly surrendered every area of your life to God's purposes. Do you still cling to your own dreams, desires, and autonomy? The speaker shares a personal crisis of faith that led them to finally let go and fully embrace God's mission.
Like Paul, we may need to learn the hard way that our lives are not our own. Surrender is essential to live as a missionary for Christ in this world. Be inspired to open your hands and let go of the worldly things you grasp, allowing God to give you something far more valuable - an eternal mission and purpose!
